I spent one week trip on Socotra with big group from Japan, It was so beautiful island in the world, nice people, nice food and everything was perfect with the arranges of Socotra travel team!.

This place is recently in the news and offers a wide variety of endemic fauna &flora, the most famous is the dragon blood trees. An amazing variety of landscape from white sandy beaches, coral reefs, lagoons to mountains and caves. As mentioned yesterday about my impression of Afghanistan, western media inaccurately portrays the geopolitical situation. Few days ago, I messaged our guide Thani Mohamme who told me there is no bombings,attackes, in fact it is very peaceful there t the moment even the BLM protests that turned violent are more dangerous in America.

I have found impression of the local people: we were offered free ice cream even though we had no local money, our guide returned Us100 to Luisa Yu bc she over-counted her tour fee in cash. In addition we were greeted and welcomed by anyone who could speak a few words of English. Please visit this place-it will be a once in lifetime experience!!!!

I just came back from the most incredible week of my life in Socotra. The island is gorgeous, but it was the team the guide and driver cook, who made the trip so perfect. The itinerary was perfect. I never felt rushed and everyday was little different but felt I got to do plenty of what I wanted. The camping equipment was in good shape and I had everything I needed. The driver was very safe and an excellent cook. I can’t believe what he can make with a camping stove or a fire! It was so delicious!!The guide Adham spoke great English. He was informative about Socotra and we had great discussions about anything and everything it seemed. The two were a lot of fun to be around and I feel so lucky to know them. The tour itself is the most reasonably priced tour I found. Can’t wait to go back next year with my husband! Thanks again Socotra Travel!!

Thanks and his team we spent an amazing week on Socotra. Thani and his friends are supper professional. Everything was great,they speak great English and everything is easy with them to organize the trip. Thani was super responsive on the internet to answer all my questions,sometimes answering me in the minute in spite of the distance.Adam is very good guide,showing us the best spot of Socotra and knowing how to be discreet  and leave us free to walk alone my companion and me,The driver,cook was excellent, i have rarely eaten so well on a trip…fresh fish almost everyday, and the rest was succulent! the driver was very good driver ,dexterously handling the jeep o the very steep roads of the island. Thanks to them we learned a lot about Socotri culture and the history of the island.The whole team went of their way to make us spent a week of drams, with the kindness and generosity typical of Socotri.
